Bobby Petrino to Louisville; Western Kentucky will hire Jeff Brohm as their HC?

Petrino is a winner. I'm sure they'll have a huge buyout/release clause. Could be much worse.

Ole Bobby isn't the type of guy to bring UofL into the ACC, imo. The amount of negative recruiting he'll get is gonna be a real problem, and he isn't proven to be able to sustain long-term success in the first place.
I look for recruiting to suffer in a big way. Gonna be a bad intro to the ACC, especially without a constant influx of talent.

It'll be interesting to see what he does instate recruiting. Stoops is a significantly better recruiter than anyone UK has had before and Petrino benefitted from one of the best crops of talent to come out of the state in awhile (Brohm, Bush, etc) in his 1st tenure at UofL. He'll now have Brohm to contend with at WKU too who is no slouch recruiting either.

Strong and Petrino are apples and oranges at this point. Strong may end up being the better HC because he's more well-rounded.

This shite aint 100% but I believe the guy who posted it. A whole lotta smoke around Petrino going back to Louisville and Brohm seems like the obvious choice for WKU.

Recruiting in general will take a hit. Bobby has baggage that other coaches will exploit.
I damn sure wouldn't want my kid playing for the dude (if I had one).

WKU had already talked to Brohm as a contingency plan before Petrino interviewed. But that's pretty much the word here in Louisville.

As an LSU fan, I have never had a reason to care about Louisville football. If they hire Bobby Petrino as head coach, that will no longer be the case. I still remember Petrino giving the finger to and cussing Les Miles during the 2011 Arkansas-LSU game. I would be perfectly happy to see Louisville lose every game as long as Bobby Petrino is their coach.

Bobby is a Grade A shitbag and you'll rarely see me defend him BUT one of his players died less than a week before that game and Les was running up the score. The players were pissed and he was pissed.
