They aren't gonna hire Mora...not enough success and he isn't as much of a splash hire I don't think

Why would a coach who is in the NC leave for another school?

I get it that Texas is probably the best program in the country, but Florida State is a top 5 job with a more inherent recruiting advantages than 98% of other schools

Just one little article about it.

Broke is certainly hyperbole on my part, but they do not have the money to really compete at the moment like the big programs. For the talk about UT being able to outspend UA, it's just fractions of a percent and a blinking game. UT can legitimately outspend FSU by several factors.

Gus stopped answering calls and signed with Auburn. The important thing is that Texas will not extend an offer unless it is a given that it will be accepted. Just like with their recruiting...

Jimbo has to beat the bushes to try and raise money at FSU. Two seperate times, over the last six years or so, FSU has had to let asst. coaches, in non-revenue sports, go because of their financial troubles. I know some prominent FSU boosters and they said a lot of the old money stopped donating when FSU axed Booby. Texas does not have that problem.
