When LSU beat Va Tech, Bud Foster was toast in Blacksburg. When Va Tech went to the prevent against BC and lost, they wanted Foster gone. Now Va Tech has won a few games in a row, and he is back to god like status.
Way too much emphasis is placed on coordinators these days. Back when Cholly Mac was getting hammered, does anyone even know who ran the defense. Who was Mike Archer's DC?
Bo deserves a shot. If he is not cut out for it, it will be because of people/management skills, not coaching skills.

Gotta admit that's debatable for the last couple months. Maybe he was distracted? If so that's a real shame and a bad comment on his character. He couldn't focus on the task at hand being too concerned about his own future.

No one said it was announced, which it hasn't been. There reports of his hiring are the result of "sources," which may or may not be true. Probably true, but there is a reason they were waiting to announce...

Nebraska didn't release the information. ESPN did. Osborne does things the right way. No one at Nebraska had anything to do with this.

The Huskers have nothing against LSU. Why do all of you hate Nebraska so much? Maybe it's because you've NEVER beaten us in all those bowl games we played. Even in our down years, we could always count on beating LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Good luck little tigers.

nebraska fans: heres the problem with bo"s d scheme if any team runs a misdirection play it absolutly blows his d plan ...you all will probably do well in conference but outside of that you had better have an offense that can score at will because his d wont hold up!!!

What's all this stuff about Bo cutting it in the Big XII but not the SEC. I guess His D didn't just win a conference championship for you all. Name me a Defensive unit in the nation who hasn't been exposed once or twice this year. D wins championships Offense wins games. I've been reading this board for the last couple weeks and realize that there are some football savvy fans in LSU, and I apologize to them because they realize what they are losing. But for the Bo haters....strap on your seatbelts...its gonna get bumpy.
