Made me smile. Good way to cool it.
Seriously though, lets don't run down the family. She made her mistakes, but a good kid came from it and that kid represented LSU. Who knows, if the apple didn't fall far from Gramps tree Sal's son may coach some day.

He is. He's was on the CU staff in a similar capacity to what he was here. GA or quality control.

The younger brother is Shannon Clavelle's son, who played DL for Coach McCartney and is from OP Walker in NOLA, so yeah, she does like em.

The point is... Who cares who she likes? She's an adult. Black, White who cares? Damn some racist Mo Fo's around here.

Well then, maybe YOU shouldn't have screamed wrong information by saying, " SHE DOESN'T LIKE THEM, " after your rant about Sal Anuese not being black. YOU are a fricking idiot and I hope you weren't calling me a racist.
However, I do agree with you, it doesn't matter one bit what Coach McCartney's daughter's taste in men is.

If Jon Embree were white he would get at least one more year. Might not seem like much but its still not fair.

Or like someone said earlier in the thread, he could've gotten one less like white guy Ellis Johnson at Southern Miss.

Disagree jGeauxjook city, Chizike had 3 winning seasons out of 4 years and a MNC and he got fired for going 3-9 and is still a much better record than what Embree had at Colorado . As another poster put it, what fanbase would put up with 3-9 and 1-11 in back to back years, that is beyond ridiculous in today's times.

5, there IS a double standard, the stats on what Embree said don't lie. I had never realized it before, but it's true.
The question is how do we change it? Don't think it can be legislated like the NFL, so it may always be like this.

Stop looking for the best 'black' candidate, and just hire the best candidate regardless of color. Any coach that shows competency will continue to get chances. Tyrone Willingham got another job because he won before he got to Notre Dame. Turner Gill got another job because he won before he got to Kansas.

If someone is putting pressure on schools to hire a candidate from a more limited pool of choices, they increase the chance that it won't be the right guy.

Colorado is taking quite a PR hit on this firing..It was just on CNN..Agree or disagree, right or wrong it will not be good for recruiting and will put a spotlight on any coach they hire..

Just curious, did Larry Porter claim racism after he was fired at Memphis after 2 seasons with a similar record as Embree at Colorado?

Porter: 3-21 No Racism
Embree: 4-21 Racism

The fact is, he never should of got the job and should just say thank you instead of looking like a whining douche.
