Baylor update...down to Mike MacIntyre, Fedora, or Dykes?

Now with Chad Morris out, reporters are saying its down to Mike MacIntyre, Fedora, or Dykes.
Why the F would Mike MacIntyre or Fedora go to Baylor from Colorado or NC?
I can almost see Fedora, but why would Mike MacIntyre go from a state school who could be playing for a NC in a few weeks to a mid level Big 12 school with a scarlet letter?

Baylor is a delusional cult like school so they probably think they could get Saban.

He isn't going. His agent is getting him a big raise! Were you around the last two weeks?

Baylor thinks they have been better than what they are.

Sounds like another school I love...

I know. My friend is a Baylor guy and he thinks Baylor is a top tier school that had a chance with Herman.
Any school can say they are interested in coaches.

IKR? Baylor fans are delusional. They will probably just end up hiring the DL coach or something.

They should look at Skip Holtz

Sonny Dykes or Skip Holtz. Both would take the job.
Fedora and McIntyre just simply wont

Baylor fans still continue to defend Briles, so I wouldn't take anything they say seriously.

Dykes makes the most sense. Not to mention, he wants out of Berkeley.

I can't. Almost zero upside to going to Baylor from Chapel Hill.

Isn't Baylor a lot more invested in their football program than UNC is as well?

Even if you're only getting Texas's scraps, it's still a far better recruiting ground than Colorado of NC.
You coach in Texas, you immediately make things easier on yourself in regards to recruiting. Of course in regards to expectations things are harder though.

I can.
NCAA has been breathing down UNC for years now.
Fedora is from Texas and would be able to return home.
Texas has much more fertile recruiting grounds than the Carolinas.
Baylor wants to be a football school. UNC will always be a basketball school.

Colorado has very difficult shackles around their program. As state employees the school can only have 2 long term highly paid exempt employees. So the assistants are all on one year contracts and are paid under market. Plus the recruiting challenges, very limited money for coaches and facilities, and the perception that the school campus environment is racist (I kid you not) make it a very challenging job.
