Excited to see what he can do with talent. It's unfortunate he's had to coach Browner and the rest of those bums.

At least those "bums" try to tackle lol and those "bums" are pros. You know levels above college players.

Auburn has a full roster of pro players. It's not our fault LSU isn't smart enough to pay their players.

Probably but mainly because he was headed for unemployment until he found a coach to give him a promotion. Gus has been very charitable with his defensive hires this year.

Auburn fans should be cautiously optimistic about this staff. They've just hired two excellent recruiters, yet pretty meh x's and o's coaches. I'll get hammered for this, but Steele isn't as bad as people want to believe. LSU has had a recent talent shortage in the front 7, and I thought steele did an okay job all things considered. Still LSU no doubt upgraded with Aranda.

If Gus can fix his offense, Auburn will be fine. With an elite offense Steele is serviceable enough to put Auburn in a position to win games.

eta: My justification for steele at LSU was that worst case scenario Steele was going to stockpile talent for the next head coach, assuming he and les failed. He's clearly a good evaluator of talent, as I've never seen LSU primed to land such a freakishly athletic class like 2016 is shaping up to be.

That's gross. You shouldn't have used condoms strewn about. That's just unsanitary.

Which further proves my point that he had no talent to work with. I'm sure coach McGriff is pumped.

The players in our secondary regressed a very large amount under his watch.

He's co-DC, which is a title only. Is there something in the water down there that is causing cognitive degradation or something?

Spin it however you want but neither of these are good hires, man. They're just not. The Saints secondary, not just BB, have regressed since he's been on staff and Steele gave up 20+ for 10 straight games for the first time in LSU history.

Both will recruit well but I wouldn't expect much out of your defense next year. Just being realistic. I'd be bummed if this were LSUs position.

I'm not spinning, just trolling. It's a meh hire IMO. But that's all we can expect. At least the guy can recruit.
