It appears Tom Allen is the guy and will be announced soon. A good hire IMO, definitely could have been worse.

He is young and entergetic. He might have been the brains behind the dominate 2014 Ole Miss defense that led the nation in scoring defense. It is my opinion that when Freeze was hired at OM he wanted to give the DC job to Allen but couldn't justify it with his resume and it being an SEC job. Our plan was for Wommack to retire in a year or so and being Allen back. I think he will be a great one.
