I think waiting til after signing day would be a good move. His comments about staying at Bama would be long forgotten and he could point to the specific pay increase versus the Bama contract.

No, it's called being a fair admin. You can't boot someone for having a different opinion than you and calling you out on it. How exactly have I lost my mind on this? I have never ever insisted that Saban was leaving. I have only stated that Saban is a candidate. Anyone with half a brain should know that he is a candidate for the Texas job.
