Mediocre hire this is like the Trent Johnson hire for LSU basketball. Art Briles would have been a lot better. The hire is better than Peterson or Patterson. What's everyone's with these two? AD's learned their lessons with Koetter, Hawkins, and Fran. We also see how great TCU looks in a down big 12 this year lol.

Arkansas fans, you should save a lot of these post mocking the hire, that way you will know who to feed the crow to in a few years.
BB is better 95% of the other names (Peterson, Patterson, Gundy, etc.) being mentioned. I believe this hire was a great, yes I said great, get by Arkansas. Get ready for a great running game and OL. He just needs a staff that's familiar with recruiting the SEC.

I just can't believe he left Wisky.....esp for Arkansas of all places.
Edit: Compare his record at Wisky to that of Miles at OSU or Saban at Mich St.

Umm...we lead the SEC in rushing nearly every year from '98-'07. We consistently had one of the best OL's in the league, with multiple high round draft picks.

Very solid hire, IMO. I'm impressed, I expected Arky to fall flat on their faces and hire a weak candidate.

I'm a huge lsu fan and could careless who Arkansas hires but don't know why some are bashing that hire if was a arky fan I would be very excited

...I'm coming around on the hire. Especially knowing he's going to have a big budget for assistant coaches. That make my pants happy.
