Aranda is LSU's "ace in the hole"

Any new head coach knowing that Aranda will be around will be the MOST lucrative carrot in the deal. Money will be the same anywhere but having a super Def coord in house is the icing that will seal the deal.
Also Tear up Aranda's contract and Double it for at least 5 yrs.

He won't be here for 5 more years. He's getting offered a HC gig soon, and he will flourish IMO(which is probably everyone's opinion).

I agree I think he is the fall back. That is if he wants to be a Head Coach.
The wild Card is Mullen.
But that is only if we miss on Jimbo and Hermon. I dont think Fedora is really an option.

Aranda is great. It's very possible LSU had Herman/Aranda planned all along.
