Anyone hearing rumblings of a Saban reunion

I have heard from a number of folks supposedly in the "know" that Sexton has called and inquired if there would be interest on LSU's part. The deal would be for a $1 M paycut and a $10M buy out.
Anyone hearing similar things?

He does not have a buyout.

It's a long shot.

Nick Saban may do a lot of things but take a pay cut is not one of them.

Friend of mine who is fairly well connected with TAF (mid level donor) said that Tubby was in town Sunday. I remember a group of people over around Shreveport who wanted Tubby when we hired Saban and again when we hired MIles. Word then (when Miles was hired) was that Tubby thought he had the LSU job so much that he told his guys at Auburn to pack up and get ready to go to LSU. Of course, he has a $6MM buyout but UM would give us $1.5MM for Miles meaning we'd have to raise $4.5MM to get him.

i heard the same. he is free to leave, and they are free to fire him at any point.
if it happened, i would have to print out the bama boards and frame them.

if it happens the state of alabama will be on suicide watch

read an article today that said he started contract extension talks with AU, which is strange because i had been hearing his name all along for LSU

I think Saban could offer to coach LSU for free and Stanley wouldn't hire him.

Stanley ain't making the call.

Who is?

No, the buyout at LSU would be 10 million for protection for LSU. At Bama he has no buyout. It would take me less than a second for me to say yes to that deal.

A girl in one of my friend's classes said that her aunt is in the real estate business here and that Terry Saban called looking for info on buying some property here in BR. I'm sure this is probably complete BS, but considering the other rumors flying around, why not put it out there?

I just don't see it happenin'.
