Anyone feel the same way I do about if Miles leaves?

Even with Skip's comments, I think it will be a miracle if Miles stays at LSU. I believe the Michigan job is the one he's wanted all along. It is a life long dream for him.

That being said, I'm not as concerned about losing Miles. He's done a very good job here and the cupboard is still full with his recruits.

LSU is now considered an elite coaching job in my view and factor in how loaded this team will be in the future, it becomes a 'plum job' because of our success over the last seven years.

I was sick when Saban left and had my doubts about Les, but like most of us, he's grown on me. I really respect the man. I hope we keep him but if we don't, I believe our next hire will be another good one.

I'll say this.....if by some miracle Miles stays, you're going to see him at LSU for a long time.

Look at the rosters of LSU, Ohio ST, Michigan.
LSU, Ohio ST. = Predominant in state talent.
Michigan = players from all over.

That is a problem for any coach.
Google Team football rosters.

Miles will go down with the MI ship.
Louisiana made Saban too.

Exactly. As far back as 30 years ago, Bear Bryant stated that if he had the talent at Bama that LSU has he would win the National Championship every year.

Unless LSU hires a total flop to replace Miles, LSU will be an upper echelon team in college football for many, many years.
