Yeah how does Alleva say that so definitively when several reports had him negotiating with Jimbo less than 24 hours ago???

Not sure if the changes that are coming will work- but miles has been given ultimatum to make some coaching changes as part of this.
...he will never change. I guess LSU will give him a raise and extension to reward his mediocre coaching. Les is the new Mack Brown.

Alleva said he would make a decision at end of season. He did. If you want to vent how about Venting at the BoS boys like Ronnie Anderson who put it in the papers that really stirred this crap up nationally. The ones who created serious doubt in our recruits heads. Alleva is a puppet for the good ol boys with more money and ego than sense. It backfired on their arse.

Gonna be awkward when Jimbo shows up Monday.

We were told he was sign sealed and delivered.

I'm ok with it if that's really the decision.

I was never convinced we were going to land a big fish to replace Les. Never believed the Jimbo crap for a second. Well I believed it for like 5 seconds today, that's it.

If Les Miles really is forced to keep his hands off of playcalling then that's as good as we could hope for. No one's going to come here and do as a good a job at recruiting.

This sucks and Les's brand of football sucks. I was a big Les defender but I'm even ready for a change

this has been fun.

Whatever happened with the talk of Les telling the boosters it'd be his last game?

Is this is the most out-of-touch-with-reality board on the internet?

No yall have tidefans
Tulane has gotula.net
A&M has texags

Basically all schools have boards where posters run with a twitter rumor or a post that somebody pulled out of their butt and think it is the truth.

Good. Now all the media writers and TD posters saying LSU's treatment of Les is disgraceful can come out with articles and threads vindicating the great Louisiana State University for handling the situation with class and honor. Nice to live in a perfect world.

This cannot be said enough.

I honestly don't trust Alleva or the good ol boys to make a decent hire when the time does come. They will chase big names, won't land them because they screw up the process (as it appears they did in this case), and we'll end up with a mid-tier coach who may or may not actually work out. This scenario has played out at teams across the country before.

The only way we might avoid this scenario is if we do what FSU did and wrap up a 'head coach in waiting' as a coordinator. But I don't think Alleva or the big money boosters are competent enough to make that happen.
