Gundy? Fedora? O? McIntyre?
Meh.
There is Saban and Meyer and Herman as the "up and comer".
After that, it's a total uninspiring crap shoot.
With that in mind, I'm not going to shite all over Coach O. He's as good as the next guy.
You can't tell me he is a disaster and Fedora is the savior.
I'm not buying that.
Riding for Herman.

They are meh but this isn't true at all.

PJ Fleck has WM undefeated. Go look at their history.

Fedora almost got USM into the BCS.

Gundy was double OT from the National Title game.

Coach O? .......

Can see where you coming from, but not liking where you're going. Gundy, for example, >>>>>> Orgeron. Just MNSHO.

I like PJ Fleck, but I don't think he's proven enough.

It'll be O. Who's much worse than Gundy or Fedora and Gundy or Fedora would be disappointing hires

I have maybe 2 guys ahead of him on my list(which I understand disagreement) and he's definitely ahead of Coach O by a mile.

Gundy? Still totally uninspiring. I've spent way too many years watching them lose to the Iowas States and Texas Techs of the world. Meh. PJ Fleck ? That's a pretty small body of work in the minor leagues in Kalamazoo. Meh. Anything short of Herman will feel exactly the same.

Gundy is 60 games over .500 at a little bro school in a talent barren state. He's won a conference title and been to Major BCS/NY6 bowl games. I love your political takes, pimp, but in no way is O equal to Gundy. Or hell, Fedora for that matter.

I agree its a risk. Coach O is a bigger risk. It amazes me he is so high in some hearts.

Ya, Coach O was a dead fish of a lay when he got a HC job. Those guys have done 10 times what he has done.

I'm not a Gundy fan, but he has sustained the program for a long period. Mixed in were some great seasons.

I'm glad that so many find guys like Gundy, Fleck and Fedora inspiring. For me, these guys are the epitome of MEH. We are trying to compete for national championships, not beat Eastern Michigan for state bragging rights.

Anything short of Herman is essentially the same for me. A nice SAFE hire of a guy with a few skins on the wall. Exactly what we said we didn't want. Put em in a hat and draw a name. Meh.
