That is pretty much a joke title.

He won't have to. If Sumlin leaves for the NFL after the 2016 season, Muschamp is the head coach.

At Florida he had quite a few disciplinary issues.

The A&M defense was on the field for over 40 minutes TWICE all season (Rice, LSU).

I can just imagine this conversation.

Sumlin: Will, I think we need to send a message to the team. They looked a bit soft yesterday.

Muschamp: Coach, I got this

Sumlin: LISTEN UP! Coach Muschamp is going to be running practice today. That is all.

LMAO if you think nothing is in A&Ms favor. Good lord man.
I'm not knocking A&M but in this situation Auburn has the upper hand.

1. Closer to home.
2. He went to Auburn.
3. He's coached at Auburn and was very successful.
4. He has multiple big recruits that's down to Auburn and UF that would likely follow him to Auburn.
5. Gus has more job security than sumlin.

Not saying Auburn doesn't have the edge here, which they very well might, but I think this is actually a big disadvantage. Going back to a position someone left previously doesn't happen often.

Could be, although I've heard Will is pretty fond of AU. I do get what you're saying, just not sure whether it is a consideration in this instance or not.

Smells like fear in here

I'm more afraid of the 5 years left on Les' contract than anything A&M will do under Sumlin.
