Probably because most offenses are credited to the HC these days.
Though Kiffin has done a great job at Alabam this year.

SB Nation report on "potential" OCs
I guess the answer is no, but it's really early in the process. Kiffin wouldn't officially interview until after the SEC Championship game; the coaches are focused on recruiting this week.

Really curious situation. Seems like some bad blood/internal issues behind the scenes. It wasn't like their offense was terrible.
