There are so many threads on here, I can't keep up. I see lots of discussion regarding Leach as OC. Where did this come from? Is there some thing pointing to this having any legs, or is this just a wishful think discussion at this point?

I wouldn't think Leach would take a coordinator job.

Poster belowpar says that Miles wants Leach but doesn't know if Leach has any interest in the position. It's on about the 3rd or 4th page of the long thread about people looking for belowpar. There are currently 9 pages to that thread.

He probably won't take it, but belowpar says Miles is probably going to make the call and see if he'd be interested.

Fantasy land.

Leach is the top prospect for the Miami job right now. Dont see him becoming an OC for LSU instead of HC at Miami.

Can't see Leach working for Miles.

I wouldn't think he would take a job while his suit is pending, nor would I think he would settle for a OC job. But that would be so awesome press conferences with both the Pirate and the Mad Hatter.

If it happens do we lose any players who might be afraid of being humiliated or ?

I don't either. Leach is probably going to be HC somewhere.

Plus, add the fact that Leach was getting a little over $2M/year. He's not going to be cheap and no way he settles on an OC job.

IF he does.....and that's probably a HUGE IF, why would you want him at LSU for just one year?

Players would have to learn a new offense. Turn around in '12 and do it again.

More headache than what he's worth.

Its all over the AP.

Exactly, he will probably not be here more than a year. IMO, Miles knows that would be not a stable option considering future recruits.

...and NONE of that says anything about Leach.

It says they are going after a big dog coach and have the money.

Leach is the #1 choice and he already is living in Miami..

Odds are, he isnt taking the OC gig at LSU.

Wonder why today's Miami Herald reports that Gruden is the top target? I would be really surprised if Miami goes after Leach given both parties' histories.
