I have long accepted this will be the case. We screwed ourselves with that extension after the Arkansas bullshite and now we're joined at the hip to him.

Oh well.

Yup, another 4-5 years of mediocrity.

He will get 8-10 wins a season, will be lucky to get more than one SECW championship though. But to people like yal that is completely fine.

What is acceptable to you? What accomplishments are a requirement for you to be "completely fine"?

I think that it is pretty obvious. Les Miles is a nice guy and everyone loves him personally but the progressive LSU fans see the writing on the wall. Les recruits great and LSU has great talent but he is not going to beat Saban. In fact, Saban is increasing the gap between the two programs. Les's inability to find and develop quarterbacks or to have a dynamic offense is stifling the talent that LSU gets. I am an outsider and I think that it is as obvious as the nose on your face. If Les lost Chavis and that great defense you are looking at 7-5 every year.

With the talent he has amassed since he has been here. Arguably, no other programs outside two or three in the country can year in and year out match us on the field with the amount and depth of talent we bring to the table. When you outclass damn near everyone you play the bar gets set very high. I can accept losses if we outplayed or outclassed however that is very rarely the case. How we lose is completely unacceptable for the talent we have and the money we pay. Just look at what the LSU rookies did this year in the NFL, they have absolutely torn it up. The inability to recruit/develop QBs, the absolute refusal to evolve at all on the OF side of the ball along with the BS clock management shite is unacceptable.

I find it amazing some of the posters attitudes on here, how are 8-10 wins acceptable? Only thing I can attribute it to is that I guess they never played competitive sports. You think Brady and Manning say well shite we won the division this year was a success, frick no, once you get to that level it is win it all or nothing. LSU is at that level and has been at that level for some time now. Winning seasons, conference championships are good but once you get to that elite level you have to strive and demand more.

Now that AUB will have a defense to go with that offense we will struggle to take the west mightily.

Solid post

Boom might be a good coach but Aub hasn't won't anything yet. It is to be determined if his defensive mind will complement Gus' offense.

All Miles has to do is release a little bit of his stubbornness and the West is fricked.

You didn't answer the question. Like, at all. What is acceptable for you?

And don't give me the "Chavis leaves and you're done" crap. The one national championship Les has was won when Chavis wasn't here. You can't say Miles is to blame for all woes with the team, but no credit for any of the positives.

SEC champs and in playoffs 1 in every 3 years. And that team was more Bo Ps than it was Miles that year.

It tough to say, there was a 4 year stretch when we should have easily won 2 NC and possible a 3rd.

The landscape has changed now with Boom going to AUB and Mich about to be on the up swing. The world has become a lot tougher than the past 5-6, our time was then imo.

So if I understand...the NC in 2007 was Bo's team, and not Les'? Holy crap man. Your hate is skrong.

But to that note...you are letting your hate show...8-10 wins a year? You do realize if we win the bowl game, Les will have had 1 (one) 8 win season in 10 years, right? As a matter of fact, you would be far more accurate in saying 10-13 win seasons, since he has had 7 of those in 10 years, but will have only had 5 of the 8-10 win seasons over the same time, with two of those being 10 wins.

So minimum of 1 SEC championship every 3 years, along with a top 4 finish. That's "acceptable" for you. Holy shite man!!! Why didn't you just say so?!?!

The SEC was at its toughest then, that's bogus. It was harder to be successful in that time period here than any other in history.

Be proud we did as well as we did and have the best coach in the country behind he whose name shan't be spoken here...

We're the only team in the country whose fans will bitch about success
