I've been wondering if he'd be willing to stay with the evil emperor for more than a season.

Why would Pinkel leave Mizzou for Nebraska? That's a step down IMO.

I think he needs more than one, but his stock is up right now.

Graham and Frost are the two on there that I think would be serious candidates. I don't see why you would leave ASU for Nebraska though unless there was a big money difference

They would hire Frost before Lashlee

No way with Mack

Pinkel is in his 60's and Mizzou to Nebraska is a lateral move at best right now

You really think they would go after Lashlee? He has two years under his belt as a big time OC and he's not even running the offense.

I would think he's got a couple years before other schools start considering him.

Not really a step down but it is a side grade. Pinkel would probably produce the same results anyway. Pinkel could of left Mizzou a long time ago if he were interested in any other job.

Greg Roman.

but they should hire the guy at Wyoming(former North Dakota State HC). Bringing in a guy like Mack Brown as an assistant for a season or 2 would also be great move help build some recruiting infrastructure

I agree. Staying would be the smart move. No idea how he gets along with his boss. It just seems to me that his ego needs that HC job.

Wouldn't you pretty much have a new head coach lined up when you fire one averaging 8-9 wins per season?

I thought he was going to go to UW in 2009 (he was Don James' OC back in the day), but if that didn't work, I thought he'd stay at Mizzou until he quit coaching.

Bo Pelini is the first coach in the history of P5 program fired (for on-field performance) after winning more than 7 games in first 7 years.
