Although it may set the LSU program back a little (depending on the hire and timing), I would be happy for Les Miles if he bolted to Michigan. To be able to go back to your Alma Mater with the opportunity of getting the program back on track would be awesome for him. Although he likes LSU, Miles has been so under appreciated here. Dude went 12-0 regular season in the toughest conference in Football playing a brutal OOC schedule as well and all he's remembered for is the loss against BAMA in the do-over. He has recruited his arse off and is one of the only coaches to match up with Lord Saban on a consistent basis. If he decides to go, great for him. I just hope the process doesn't drag on. It could hurt LSU in recruiting and hiring a qualified candidate.

Bullshite...Look at the margin of victory in those games. LSU had BAMA beat in 2 of those. I said "matches up". Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way.

Let's just see what LSU's new coach will do if Miles bolts. Time will tell.

umm it will hurt in recruiting this year. These guys have been recruiting some of these players for years. A lot of times the programs are equal in what they can offer, everyone has nice facilities, a lot of the decisions come down to the relationships they build with the coaches.

I think it would suck considering the class we got last year, it would essentially be wasted. You want players to stay and not bolt for the nfl? you basically would have zero chance of any of them staying.

Plus with Wilson not taking the Troy job, i have a feeling Miles knew this was coming and knows he isnt leaving. He wouldnt frick over Frank like that.

They should create a new category for moral victories.

I doubt Miles is going anywhere. Why risk going to Michigan where recruiting will be much more difficult. And why risk those fans bitching him out every week. He'd probably rather get bitched out here each week and be respected as one of the great coaches in college with a great program.

Really, so now we are looking for moral victories?
