Quiet board goes wild in 2 weeks

NFL Head Coaching jobs will open. One guy that many expect to jump if given the chance is Brian Kelly. If that happens, Notre Dame becomes the most attractive available college job. Who do you think they chase?

Someone who can coach defense. Probably Charlie Strong.

Not sure who they chase, but I think David Shaw has a good chance of getting it.

I think he gives it one more year with Golson, but I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks he peaked there and it's too much of a pain in the butt with the academics and all. One more mediocre season and his stock will drop, too.

Notre Dame has lost its lustre. Put the Irish on the trash heap of college football greats along with Army, Santa Clara, Princeton, and the Carlisle Indian School.

I know Notre Dame has the history, but that is a downgrade as far as coaching jobs goes compared to Stanford.
