If Miles was leaving, wouldn't Chavis have taken the job at Texas with a $500,000 pay raise? It makes no sense for Chavis to stay if he knew Les was leaving. If Les leaves and led Chavis to believe that he was staying, then Chavis got royally screwed...

Chavis is not a big fan of Miles. Miles leaving would probably help keep Chavis, depending on the new head coach of course.
