them he can coach for many years and retire there. If he keeps LSU where we are today, he would still have a lot of unhappy fans calling for more championships in due time with no room for any more 'rebuilding' yrs like 08 and 09.

Michigan means less stress, longer term job security and possibly more money. It also means home to him. Even if he loves LSU, which we know he does, I don't see why Miles would stay.

Heck, even 50% would do considering they haven't done it in so long.

Hate to say this but look at the roster miles took over when he got here and look at the one he would take over up there.

Oh yea, Michigan is about as low stress as they come. They have no expectations, and their fanbase won't be critical at all.

I think Miles will have to do some program building up at Michigan to get to where LSU is presently. The program building is what Rich Rod was trying to do but his way didn't jive with the way things are done at Michigan. I want to see if Miles' way will jive with the Michigan way after he's been a head coach at LSU and Ok. St. - two places where at least outwardly things are done differently than at Michigan.

Relative to LSU, it will be far less. We are a demanding program in the most demanding conference in the country.

Agreed! All their fans care about it is:

1. Beating OSU every other year.

2. Beating Mich ST every year with a one year low once every five years. (They EXPECT to beat Mich ST this often)

3. Going to A BOWL game every year.

4. Winning the National Championship every 20yrs or so.

Les does this he will retire at Uofm :)

This is very true...

But all this needs to be done while running a totally clean program.

BTW...we expect to beat Sparty about 7.5 times out of 10 on average.

unless something changes, it will be difficult to get most any Big 10 school where a top SEC school is right now.

Some people like a good challenge because it makes them feel alive. Others like the comfort level they are at if it makes them happy.

False.

Not so long ago I remember Tiger Fans charging the field when we won against Top Ranked teams.

Fast Forward to now...We expect to beat anyone we play anywhere we play them.

The same will happen at Michigan if he could a build a program where he has a run like he has here.

It is human nature to change your expectations as your results change.
