Which is why he just might end up as LSU's linebacker coach by spring practice.

They're limited to nine assistant coaches. They have to move someone.

The vote to expand staffs by one coach is next month.

Really don't know WTF is going on with Coach Haley but I don't think he stays at LSU. Uprooting any established family is difficult and painful, and it must be especially so if you have a kid with special needs. If the Haleys have been able to put a good support network in place, I'm sure they want to keep it, but I still think he leaves.

Chavis made a decision and Haley is part of the fallout. He has a relationship with Chavis and he will be much less stressed at a & m than he will at Bama.

Yeah if he doesn't leave I would suspect he will be added back to the on field staff in some capacity.

That one fact makes one look on his situation entirely different.

Kudos to Les for making a place for him. When Coach K discovered his health issue I was proud of LSU and CLM being stand up employers and making a place for him also

I heard he has a child with special needs. Best to keep the child in a stable environment, familiarity with schools, teachers, friends, etc...

If true, can't believe LSU fans have been ragging on him by calling him an intern and offering him up as your trash

Are you kidding !

Aggie are the most nasty fans there is !

The things that you guys have said about every coach that you have had from RC on down.

Just for that remark, I have 3 aggies that work for me, Thanks to you, they are now working on the weekend !

He's in an administrative intern position dipshit. He may rejoin the staff when the NCAA allows an additional coach.

Fans ragging him goes with the territory. Special needs child does not enter into the discussion. Is CS/aTm unable to offer services to special needs children.

Not all fans, but there have been some.

Most didn't know anything about the circumstances and just took Miles's use of 'intern' as a slight and ran with it. More or less, piling onto Brick because of some legitimate distaste for his mentor (i.e. John Chavis).

That may be the reason he don't go anywhere. He may feel played by Chavis with the way it all went down. You have to think he either lied to Brick and said he was staying or Brick signed his contract to stay with us knowing Chavis was leaving. It's seems like Haley may have decided to go his own way from the chief.

A&M has not officially even announced Chavis as the DC yet. I have a feeling both of these are contract/buyout related. I wouldn't be shocked to see the re-assignment as a breach of Brick's contract so we might end up having to pay him. There's also no way a man like him simply takes the demotion to "intern". I expect to see Brick on the A&M sidelines in some capacity this fall, but there's no way he's staying at LSU.

I believe TAM did announce Chavis at a press conference. Regardless its as official as official gets. He's on the road recruiting so he's on the staff officially

Brick wanted to stay @LSU for personal reasons.

...so he can spy on us for aTm? Game day phone calls with Chavis like Sumlin/Chavis in Music City Bowl?
