Probably, and I wouldn't blame them. Auburn almost lost to Wazzu at the beginning of the season. Theyve improved throughout the season, to say the leaat

What kind of statement is that?

Coming from an Aggy no less?

Texas is one of the best jobs if not the best job in College football... and I am die hard LSU fan

Saban moves over to Texas, the landscape of College football changes accordingly...

the big 12 will get instant cred with him there...and he will likely get Texas in that top 4 for the BCS early and often... which makes the job even more attractive if the conference is what you suggest...

come on now, you sound like an Old Miss or R-Kansas fan... :)

I get what you're saying, but it's quite an accomplishment. Something Auburn & LSU have done an equal number of times.

As for Auburn playing LSU, I have to think Auburn would win now. I'm not sure by a long shot. But Auburn is far, far better than they were early in the season, while LSU is about the same.

i agree with this

When LSU dropped the Ole Miss game, they stopped playing passionate football..because the season was kind of over...by LSU standards

they played 9 straight without a bye and I think that game was a bad situation for LSU...It's Ole MIss' superbowl beating LSU... LSU expects to beat them, and it caught up to them playing 9 straight...

Mett threw 3 pics in the first half...

Now Auburn beat a beat up UGA team at home on a miracle play, while LSU played UGA at UGA at their best health wise...a 3 point loss

Lost to Ole Miss at the final second kick, another road loss

LSU lost to Alabama on the road... fumbled on the 1 yard line that would have given LSU a 2 TD lead in the first QTR.. Perhaps that game may have ended differently

Bottom line is LSU was real close this year, the D was off

But when the Offense made mistakes they couldn't overcome them on the road...

Auburn had a good schedule...tougher games at home this year

the one tough road game, they got handled pretty good...

my 2 cents

The same one you watched...take off your glasses

LSU dominated the first QTR did they not?

They didn't cash in and the Momentum shifted...

LSU dominated Alabama in BR last year for almost 3 QTRS..but the first quarter was a disaster with the Tide getting the lead

It matters!!!

These teams are so close, you can not fumble on the 1 yard line and expect to win

Oh really? Bama fumbled going in for a TD in the 3rd last year. And won. On the road.

My man, LSU fumbled on the 1 yard line on their first drive. That would have put them up ONE touchdown in the 1st quarter. Not two, like you mentioned.

Do you WATCH any football games? Bama didn't score at all in the first quarter. Ya'll lead 3-0 before Bama scored 14 in the 2nd to take a commanding 14-3 lead at half time.

LOL!! I was sitting at about the 45 yard line last year! heck yeah I saw the game. LOL!

Look at the stats, LSU out-gained Bama by about 100 yards if my memory serves me correct. Now, going into to that game, I didn't think we would win, but we actually should have won the game as we outplayed Bama in My humble opinion...It came down to one first down late in the 4th in Alabama territory, and unfortunately horrid play calling surfaced yet again... trying to run the ball with 22 men in the box... just stubborn

Back to T town:

LSU went up 7-0 this year didn't we?

that was after we fumbled the drive before... We were moving the ball very nicely

by my calculation, we would have had a 2 TD lead before the Tide scored in the game.

That's the view from LSU fans... We should have scored a TD on the first drive. We look at our mistakes and how it affected the outcome of the game /score.

Bama fans look at the game /results differently..

My point is, if LSU goes up 14-0, I think LSU plays a stronger second half and perhaps hangs on to win... you can believe what you want...it's water under the bridge now..

no... we have a better coach.

Eventually our talent will be back on par with LSU, and when it does.... watch out.

This except we would beat the frick out of LSU. This apex guy he just butthurt that Malzahn won the west his first year on the job. LSU is a W next season though. Dont you worry about that Apex.

FWIW, if the two teams played today AU would be a solid favorite b/c of Mett's blown knee... overall talent, i'll give LSU the advantage.

should be a great game next year.

That doesn't change the fact you were wrong in your statement.

Bama fumbled inside the 10 yard line late in the 3rd quarter. Would have put us up 11 going into the 4th. Yards =/= points.

No. Bama kicked a field goal my friend. Bama lead 3-0.

You have not been close to being right about any of the past two games in this thread.

What I sense is hypocrisy. You are saying LSU is a great team but loss to bama by 3 TDs but but bama didnt dominate. However, AU vs LSU game where LSU wins by 2 TDS, it was domination even though we rolled up over 400 yards of offense. We made mistakes in the beginning of the game that cost us.

good Golly here comes the Arrogance that can only be found in the great state of Alabama...

Wow, LSU fans will have to go back to hating you Auburn LOL. Didn't we just beat you this year? Is it 3 years in a row? but we need to look out?

Les Miles has 10 times the accomplishments of your newly hired coach and you want to claim he is better? Oh he talks better? Oh ok...good for him

If Saban leaves for Texas, your luck could not be greater! Seriously, Alabama is a way better team this year and you got lucky this year.. You guys need to chill out on this, "look out business"...

your recruiting has been very good the last few years so I don't know your talking about relative to the future.. "Look out"

I am pulling for Mizzou this weekend, you guys have pushed me too far!!

Oh Ok so it's ok for you to point out your mistakes but not ours?

All I know is, LSU should have had 14 pts early this year and didn't get it done

Just pointing out that everyone fumbles at bad times. Bama didn't use it as an excuse. They won the game, unlike LSU this year.

I see where you get 7 points (fumbling on the one), but where are the other 7 coming from? Because Mett fumbled a snap due to crowd noise inside your own territory. That was no way a guaranteed 7 points.

At best LSU is up 7-0. Bama still wears them down and wins.
