There was obviously no interest on either LSU or Chizik's part. No way he would accept a position at UNC if he knew he had a shot at the LSU gig, and he was interested in it.

It's weird I never even thought of him, but he would seem to be an excellent candidate for LSU. I wonder why they did not go after him if he was looking to get back in the game? He's a proven DC at AU and Texas, and he could recruit the hell out of AL, GA, and FL for LSU.

I like chiz, but I think the game may have passed him by. Hope I'm wrong and he does well.
