Harbaugh will be the coach at Oakland. They will give him the total control he wants and his wife gets to stay in the bay area.

They will without a doubt pursue him. He is perfect for Michigan. It would be like a dream come true for the blue. Running downhill 70% of the time like back in the day, they would go crazy for Les.

Only as a fall back plan. I think Michigan wants to make a splash hire and be innovative, so with Miles........

They tried that with Rich Rod and it blew up in their face. They really put a premium on being a Michigan man. Outsiders really aren't welcomed, as Rich Rod found out.

Miles is 60. I think that may be a factor.

yea I could see them wanting to go a little younger for sure. Makes no sense really to hire coaches in their 60's for rebuilding jobs.

I saw an interview one time with Bo and in the interview Bo said he told Miles to "go make LSU his Michigan"

It was in the context that Les spoke to Bo before taking the LSU job and sounded like Miles wanted to wait on the Michigan job and Bo new it would not happen.

I thought Miles was originally from Ohio.

Not enough Michigan in him.

I don't see it happening. Miles' stock has gone down from 2007.he peaked then. Now he's not a hot commodity
