Perhaps the herd will be about to overwhelm Alexandria when Morgan comes to the rescue and does what he does best, clear.

I have to believe Morgan will play a bigger part in the show than in the comics.

I feel the same way. The way they're building him up means he has to be a more central character in the show.

I might have to follow the spoiler sites this summer to see if Lennie James is spotted in Georgia.

yeah I'm hoping they don't kill off Morgan too soon like they did in the comics.

Several people, including myself, think Daryl is going to meet Lucille. IMO, it's the most iconic death in the comics. A lot of people expect it to happen, even non-comic readers, so I think they will throw us a curveball. The foreshadowing (Glenn in the Terminus trough, finding the baseball bat in Richmond)just makes it too obvious. I can just see Negan playing eenie, meenie, miney, mo and ending on Daryl. People will riot.

is anyone "untouchable" in the show?

I think Rick is, obviously, and also I think Carol is as well. I would like to think that Daryl is too, but I can see his death at the hands of Negan and Lucille being used for it's shock value.

I agree for the most part. If they stick with Maggie getting prego then what..... I actually just read the part with Glenn and Lucille meeting. it was a shock. I think the killing of Glenn was symbolic in the way that rick looked at Maggie and Glenn as the future. the one good thing in the world

I can actually see Darryl infiltrating the saviors and gathering information for rick.

My opinion of safe to non-safe order:

1. Rick
2. Carl
3. Judith
4. Daryl
5. Carol
6. Maggie
7. Glenn
8. Abraham
9. Aaron
9. Sasha
10. Eugene
11. Rosita
12. Tara (though if she survives now, she could be safe for awhile)
13. Gabriel

Slide Machone in around 8 and it looks good. I'd probably flip Daryl and Carol though.

My bad. I knew I was forgetting someone. I'd put her fairly high. Maybe after Carol, imo.

The evolution of Carol's character on the show is arguably the most significant in terms of growth, development, and influence.

If anyone in the core group dies, it will be something very meaningful, as in an offering of themselves for the others - changing a situation or status of the group to some closure and ultimate "good".

She should take Maggie's place in the comics as far as being the leader of the Hilltop.

Real close race between her and Daryl. She's evolved into an independent, strong, stone-cold warrior- away from "feelings". Daryl on the other hand has developed from being a stone-cold, unfeeling loner into a leader capable of empathy. The two have sort of met in the middle. Though they may look and act totally different on the outside- inwardly they're very similar. They'll both do what's necessary for the survival of the group.
