next season we need two episode threads. LA was railroaded. He didn't spoil anything. These non-literates of this board miss so much shite. In GOT and WD. It's laughable. Last GOT season people were pissed because of a Bolton sigil.
This time mad because LA mentioned cannibals.
Honestly if you didn't expect cannibals in an apocalypse scenario you are dense and have no sci-fi knowledge.
I'm surprised we haven't seen more yet.

Also I love zombies. Horror movies to me have always been silly and not scary, but the idea of getting infected or coming across anything of the sorts just wigs me out. I'm also not your typical Alabama person. I love my state but hate a lot of people and fans that are in it. You should see me on game days. I would much rather sit in the stadium and watch the game with a few friends and family. frick the rest of the other 100k.

According to ATLTiger cannibals can only exists in extremely desperate situations where planting crops and raising livestock is impossible. That if there are cannibals in the show that it's a sign of shitty writing.
I guess he didn't notice the dead cannibals eating human flesh.

If we ever had an apocalyptic event, I think cannibalism would be pretty widespread. People turn desperate quick. You will have scanvengers(gatherers), farmers and hunters.

What cracks me up is when someone points out a spoiler by quoting it and then asks the person who typed it to delete it.
I'd wager the majority of the board would have breezed past the initial post, but because one person called attention to a "spoiler," more people saw it.

Of course. And I'm curious to see how much they delve into the back story of Terminus when the show starts again.
My guess?
They were a church group that found sanctuary in this building. Food ran out, someone committed suicide, and they ate the person to prevent starvation. They came to grips with their choice because that's how they could survive, and they lured unsuspecting survivors into their trap.
I'm actually liking this idea more than the hunters angle in the comic.

You can't get pissed at people that aren't reading the comics. Some people just don't want to know everything that's coming down the road. I, for instance, just started reading the comics last week. I'm on issue 58 now. I'm just getting into when they meet Abraham and Eugene on the farm. I like the comics because the story is just different enough to almost give me a 2nd TWD fix. However, I'm reluctant to read much further because I now know that I'm coming up to the stuff that will likely be in season 5. The signs were there for cannibalism in Terminus, sure, but only because we've been hearing that storyline on the internet for over a month now. If you only watch the show and don't go digging for spoilers it wasn't that obvious. A millisecond flash of some bones in a pen and a lady grilling ain't exactly a big blinking sign. It actually teased some sort of sacrificial cult more than anything.

You should keep reading. The storylines are already very different. I don't think the terminus storyline could go down like the hunters in the comics.

So you expected the Terminus people to be cannibals but not anyone else up to this point? The only reason you know they exist is because of the comics and internet. They didn't exist in Outbreak, I Am Legend, Cloverfield, Contagion, etc.

I am Legend only had one antagonist that they showed. They had no humans to eat.
all of the others were about the outbreak and the start of the terror. I'm talking years down the line.

Woodbury had farming and livestock, as did the Farm, and the prison.
It wouldn't surprise me that people in desperate situations would eat the easiest prey to catch.
I don't see the Hunters at all like Terminus, and I don't know Terminus is canibalistic. But they show that they obviously don't farm, and they want people to come to them. Lots of people. Everyone that walks the tracks or has a radio. They want them to come. Then they offer them food. Then capture them.
The beginning was all about how to set a trap, how to make it just right to force the prey.
Can you not see the group was the "prey" the whole thing was a trap.
Do you think they do that just to have gladiator fights?
No.. Cannibals.

I understand what you're saying and the foreshadowing was certainly there. However, I'm not sure Joe viewer jumped right to cannibalism like people were calling for the minute Beth was kidnapped.

That was me and I did get a PM even though it wasn't a spoiler since that name had been used on talking dead and this very board in an earlier TWD none spoiler thread. I backed off LA didn't.
