Maybe Lysa said it cryptically and Sansa didn't know what was going on, but I was sure she heard Lysa say something like "I did exactly like you told me and sent the letter" or something.
Well Sansa never had a clue about the conspiracy. It was only Ned, Cate, and Luwin. So when Lysa is confessing everything Sansa is probably thinking, "my aunt is a crazy bitch; she needs to die."

No, she's becoming ambivalent.

I think Sansa is the biggest wildcard in ASOIAF... I think Martin enjoys writing her story arc in where it began and shattering all her beliefs and exposing her vulnerability to remain "a lady". Martin can really take here story anywhere considering she has her trailer hitched to LF and the chaos of Westeros.
ETA: And it is fitting she brought in pg 500

Doesn't mean she's incapable of putting it together in the future if she hasn't already...

Sorry for the string of responses...
Unless its the closing chapters of ASOIAF I just don't see it. Little Finger is the main antagonist of Westeros and his story will be sooo diminished if he dies before the ending.
I think Sansa falls for the power and revenge that LF is seeking since her entire view of the world has been shattered. She will want revenge on Cersei and power/control that she has. LF is that vehicle.
And at the end when LF is finally taken down Jon will need to kill Sansa for peace to prosper in Westeros.

Well yeah she could figure it out, but as for it just suddenly dinging on her, na. That girl is a emotional fuster cluck. It's going to take a while before she is mentally capable of putting clues together.

I really don't think power is something that remotely tempts Sansa. All Sansa wants is to go home, and LF is using this so he could be the de facto Lord of Winterfell. I'd say LF will make it to ADOS and be killed about a 1/3 of the way into the book after all his plans come crashing down with the survival of the other Starks and the Others.

Well... there is another event that is going to move her arc substantially. My guess is when losing her maiden hood or when little robert is dead.
ETA: sorry stating the obvious about losing the maiden hood but it will be rape or some forced manipulation which in any case she ain't gonna like it.

I have a feeling Sansa kills the man that tries to rape her. That may be Littlefinger before it's said and done.
My biggest curiosities outside of obvious ones like is Jon alive, has to be where will the Blackfish turn up and will we hear from Benjen Stark again?

Fully agree. The key to Sansa is that she's not going to turn into a tragic, dark arc like Arya has. Sansa isn't a cold blooded killer like poor Arya. She mostly wants to marry someone for love and not for looks after realizing how much of a monster Joffrey was as well as other good looking men (Haryold is supposed to be decent looking, but she's not crazy about the idea that he has 2 bastards running around; sounds a lot like her aunt Lyanna to me) and not for her claim. Could easily see her wanting someone like Sandor who doesn't care about her claim, but about her (note: I'm not one of those crazy SanSan fangirls, but Sansa is definitely start to think of him in a more sexual way, as evidence in ASoS and AFFC, with the UnKiss and all that; plus she's always comparing other men to the Hound and always thinking about him, despite being "Alayne").
I love Sansa and she's tied with Arya for my favorite ASOIAF female character. GRRM plans on giving the series a bittersweet ending, but I seriously think that Sansa and Rickon are the 2 Starks most likely to live (Bran will live too, but in tree form).

The latter two are my biggest questions I want answered along with when do we meet Howland Reed?
Who told Doran about the plot to crown princess Myrcella? And why did Darkstar try to kill her?
Posted on 12/13/13 at 2:29 pm to TigerintheNO
I thought that maybe Areo Hotah could've told Doran, but maybe Doran has some 'spies'? Darkstar, maybe?
Posted on 12/13/13 at 3:53 pm to ladytiger118
Don't think it was Areo for a couple of reasons, when Arianne ask him how her father knew he said someone always talks, implying it was one of the conspirators. I think he would have told her if it was him. Secondly since he wasn't in on the conspiracy how would he have known?
Darkstar is a likely candidate, but who is he working for Doran, Varys, one of the Sandsnakes, himself? He never thought the plan would work, talks of killing Myrcella, then tells Oakheart to put away his sword and surrender to Areo. None of his actions make sense with regard to his previous actions.

Do you subscribe to the theory that Myrcella is dead and that her cousin has been posing as her?

I don't. No evidence at all.

Yeah... GRRM would be blatantly lying to the readers if that were true.

Holy shite that's a lot of posts...
I think Sansa will slowly start going insane. Just a feeling I have. I do think she will kill LF.
Arya to the throne using Faceless Men methods to eliminate her rivals, or perhaps even under another guise.

I really hope Sansa doesn't lose her mind like the Tully women.
I just want her to be happy and bake lemoncakes.
