Crazy idea; Littlefinger's great grandfather was from Braavos. LF is working to create chaos that will make Braavos and the Iron Bank richer and more powerful.

I think that 's very likely. We know he wants to punish the ruling class and, if he has a larger secret, his actions back up the braavos theory

GRRM said that we are going much farther north than ever before and we're going to learn more about the Others and their intentions
well there's nobody else to go farther North than where Bran is (and he's staying put) except for Benjen who could still be on his original ranging trying to discover whats going on

I think LF is the leader/owner/head banker? of the Iron Bank. It would make sense why he was able to placate the bank whenever they came calling.

I dont know if anyone ever goes to cracked.com or checks out their "photoplasty" section

Though I'll be very glad to see the Red Viper, I think I was looking forward to seeing Doran Martell even more for some reason. I guess I just envision him as a deep thinker who could match wits with the likes of the Queen of Thorns and Tywin, etc.
Of course if they do the Oberyn/Mountain fight right, I think it could surpass Blackwater, RW, Ned's loosing his head, etc. for me.

You'll be in for a disappointment. It is the one thing I think the show will absolutely pail in comparison. I think the RW will be great, but they've completely failed to build up the Mountain.

I'm being an optimist, but I think they get this almost perfect for the book readers. The non-readers can't possibly hate the Mountain as much as we do, so it won't have the same affect. They did a full scale battle major justice, I think they knock a single combat out of the park.
