Like I said in the reader's thread, it's not like the Umbers can just find a black/dark colored direwolf whenever they want. There hadn't been a direwolf sighting in 200 years before the Starks found theirs. So good luck in finding one unless you accidentally stumble on one.

And it looks like the Meera is Jon's sister was debunked on the show by the 3 eyed raven.

Could it have been a regular wolf? Head looked small.

I'm just reaching because I don't want Shaggy dead.

Wasn't sure where to put this since it's not really a full blown crackpot theory. But:

It seems like they're setting it up for Bran to screw up a bit by using his powers recklessly/before he's ready. Especially the "talking to people" bit like he tried and kind of succeeded in doing with young adult Ned.

It would be kind of interesting if they sort of bookmarked this by revealing that somehow Three Eyed Raven screwed up the same way - maybe by talking to Rhaegar and setting off the whole Robert's Rebellion mess or something and that he's been trying to make it right all this time setting up things for Bran, only to have him screw up as well.

Substitute Rhaegar for the mad king aerys, but yes I agree there is potential

TER potentially tried to influence MKA and drove him insane.

Shaggydog is alive and well. He will kill the Bolton hounds and bite Ramsey's dick off. Book it. Highlight of the season.

Shaggydog is in fact dead. He died of heart worms then they decapitated his body.

This is actually pretty interesting. Bran does speak to Ned through a Weirwood tree in the books so it could play out in both instances.

Two interviews with Art Parkinson (the actor who plays Rickon). Would at least seem to answer the Shaggy Dawg question. Also some very interesting stuff about Rickon's personality and nature.

HuffPo Interview

Hollywood Reporter Interview

I mean, lots of stuff have happened since Ned found the wolves. More direwolves could have been pushed south in the interim.

Plus, has Ramsey even seen a direwolf? He could have been fooled I think.

As much as Ramsay is around large dogs, and wolfs aren't much bigger (if at all) than his dogs, I don't think Ramsay would be fooled by a regular wolf's head.

Are we sure Ashara Dayne is dead?

I think Ashara Dayne and her baby are still alive. Possibly Septa Lemore and Aegon. Aegon as the heir to House Dayne would be interesting. Although, I think Lemore as Ashara is more likely, and she just faked her death to tutor the child she thinks is Aegon.

tGNC theory is dead?

GNC is alive and well, my friend.

And I'm starting to believe that the KarStarks are in on the long con, and this is the show's way of simplifying their role in the GNC.

In the books, the current Lord Karstark is held by Manderly/Iron Throne. If he is executed, then the lordship of Karstark passes to Magnar of the Thenns; and it was Jon Snow that married Alys Karstark to Thenn.
