Been years since I contemplated this but my wife bought a few cooking magazines the other day and they were like $9 each!! Surely there are better ways to access digital magazines but whatever it is, I would like it to be easy enough that she doesn't get frustrated.

I know about kindle; but is that the best way to go for large amounts of color magazines? What about hardware? Chromebook ok or should I consider something else?

TIA!

I read magazines on CloudLibrary with my public library membership for free. I read on my iPad, but haven't tried it on my chromebook.

I download comics using torrents and read with the "Panels" app on my phone and ipad.

I don't read magazines, but I believe the "Libby" app, which is tied to your library cards, has magazine options. They are limited to what your library has though.

Been reading the old GI Joe marvel editions after i binged the cartoon on YouTube. There’s an account called SerpentorsLair on Twitter that tweets them out including the original tv ads

Just talking magazines, for most people, Apple News+ is probably sufficient. However, their selection is too small for my tastes, so I bought a year of Magzter for around $45 with a coupon. iPad is the best way to go. The only complaint I have is that it's not intuitive to delete downloaded issues, but otherwise it's cheap and packed with content.
