So, other than his name, is he trademarking phrases others created? I'm assuming his parents waived their rights to his name for this venture.

And I agree these are stupid. Not sure what all trademarking your name prevents, so to be safe I won't change my current habit of never saying it.

There used to be a ploy out there that some patriot groups/peeps used by copyrighting their own names in CAPS. If you've ever noticed when the feds send you anything in the mail or have you listed on one of their sites or in their databases...you're listed as TAX SLAVE (your name) in all caps. They're letting you know that you're just a number not a real person.

So these folks' thinking is every time the gov refuses to use our real names, they've infringed on their copyright and time for them to pay up. Which in reality, they should. But I think most bought-and-paid-for gov judges have dismissed those cases...further letting you know that copyrights/trademarks are useless when the gov is the thief.
