Details and mugshot after his arrest was released on Wednesday, per TMZ...
quote:

Henry Ruggs was traveling 156 MPH seconds before Tuesday's crash, slamming into the back of a Toyota at 127 MPH, with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit, killing a 23-year-old woman, officials say.

Ruggs appeared in court this morning for the first time with a gash on his face, wearing a neck brace, to answer charges he caused the fatal car wreck in Las Vegas.

The details are disturbing. Officials, in new documents obtained by TMZ Sports, say they examined the computer in Ruggs' car and determined he was going incredibly fast just moments before he plowed into the Toyota.

The 23yo girl in the Rav4 was burned alive and screaming for help but was pinned. I hope her family gets paid all of Ruggs earnings and that the Raiders have to pay them the rest of his contract.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed for sure. There is no need to drive this fast. When something goes wrong it won't be good. He'll regret this for as long as he lives.

I’m surprised he was by himself driving that fast. Normally that’s a braggart move. Thank goodness he was though.

Bought a Guice jersey because i thought it would be funny to have a redskins jersey before they pulled them… about a week later he was arrested and cut. Still has the tag on it. Whoops.

What is really sad about this other than an innocent woman losing her life is that this dude won’t see one day in jail
user avatar

The law in Nevada says he HAS to see jailtime. A least 2 years.

If the sad thing, in your eyes, is anything but the innocent woman losing her life, I am deeply worried about you.

Rot in jail you POS.
user avatar
Guessing you are sin free? Yes, his mistake is huge, but it was a mistake by a young man. We all have made them. His unfortunately costs another person her life. That doesn't make him a POS, it makes him human who made a mistake. He will pay the price. Not sure why people think postings like yours provide any justice or closure to an awful situation. But let me guess, your some god fearing man with morals huh?

"Mistake by a young man" apparently equates to going 156 mph, having a BAC of twice the legal limit, and carrying an illegal gun in the car. I'd say the bulk of society in general doesn't have "mistakes" like this on their record during their younger days. Stop making excuses.
user avatar
No excuses were made for him! He will pay the price for his actions. And you are correct, most people do not have "mistakes" like this on their record during their younger days, likely due to most of us not getting caught. I surely made plenty of them that could have been catastrophic had one little thing gone differently. But again, no excuse, he should and will pay the price. But to just brand him a POS, I thought you were out of line. Pedophiles, rapist, domestic abusers, those people are POS's! This man made a bad decision to drive fast drunk and it cost a young lady her life, and essentially his as well.
