Nike fricked. Their fault though.

Pretty good commercial. But, if you’re one of the richest and most recognized brands in the history of mankind I would be disappointed if you couldn’t produce one. CK, on the other hand, is a self-serving, egotistical TPOS.

Nike's stock will continue to tank.....one of the dumbest moves ever!

Well, guess that presents an opportunity to buy in cheap and ride the train back to the top. Looks Nike Stock is actually up this morning. The buzz over this has generated $163 million for Nike. Maybe not so dumb my friend...

Serena Williams is not the greatest athlete ever no matter how much the SJW leftists want you to think it. Also, Kaepernick blows.

"If you're a bad quarterback, don't just settle for not starting...really flame out, then accuse the entire NFL of collusion. Believe in something. Even if it means suing everything."

This entire situation is nonsense. Its just a pissing match at this point, both sides are right and wrong in different areas.

Its a good commercial. It just has a few people in it that don't really fit the message.

It is a powerful ad, but many will say that it could have been more so if it didn't involve someone who has alienated as many as CK did. Is the emphasis on someone who challenged the world of sports as the ad showed or is it based on someone whose issue was outside the world of sports but brought into it? I am for keeping sports and politics separate and address them equally on their own "Playing fields".

I never understood why a business would get involved in politics or controversy like this.

Same reason all businesses do it... for the money - Per Time Magazine: as of 2 days ago this controversy generated $43 million in 24 hour span

I assure you as someone who has spent over 25 years in marketing and PR, those figure were being tabulated possibly before the news was released. It's very easy to track sales of Nike product to vendors, and that's how it is tracked, not by sales to the consumer. What isn't easy to track is sales missed until at least the following quarter. I would be interested to see how that stacks up sales numbers during the same time span in the last five years. It may be better, but I wouldn't expect any great gains. Just like CK has actually done very little to further is supposed cause aside from looking for his next payday, I would bet his supporters will do very little to help Nike more than they normally would. It's good press though, they are certainly relevant...until the next news cycle anyway.
