Frustrated Cam Newton Loses Cool On His Coaches On Sidelines

I am a LSU fan and every time I hear Cam Newton, I think Scam Newton. True or not, that is what I think from the news.

Anyway from what I can tell, he has been a model citizen in his community. Most athletes don't even get involved in their communities (high profile or not). But Cam is a high profile QB in the NFL on a Super Bowl path, yet he still does not get in trouble and even contributes to his community.

I don't like his alleged history in college and as an adult will not hold what was alleged against him. But I can respect the man he has become now that he is in the NFL. As Jesus said in saving Mary Magdalene, "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone."

Lot of irrational hate up in here for Cam. The more I watch him, the more like. Looks like the fans of EVERY team he plays for and the players and coaches on those teams like him. Everyone else can kiss his arse.

I guess all these apologists believe cursing your coaches and showing them disrespect is the correct thing to do. Once upon a time a player played for a coach. Yea, I could see Chuck Noll, Ditka or Parcells letting this shite happen.

This doesn't surprise me at all. If he is playing 30 years ago the coach lays him out. This guy is a great player, no doubt. he knows it. It's just all about him and look at me. He puts on this persona, with help from the Panthers PR dept but inside he's just a POS who has respect for no one and makes DAMN sure he gets the spotlight. Even when he doesn't score he runs over to the stands. Then, on his traditional victory lap he always grabs something of another teams and disrespects it. Something the Aikmans, Montanas, Steve Youngs and Warren Moons of the world would never do.

There's A LOT that I don't like about Cam but this doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It's the playoffs, a lot is on the line, everyone gets a little more emotional. Other QBs pop off all the time, as previously stated
