How much alcohol do you have to drink to die of chronic abuse? Asking for a friend...

Really depends on genetics. Generally if you start drinking as soon as you wake up that's probably going to kill you sooner or later

and to die only at 38 years old. I could see someone in their 50s or 60s, but 38???

But his family says CTE...cause every player gets that! It's like the vid...you may die in a car accident, but it will be noted that you had covid too.

correct. CTE is a real thing, no doubt, but when every football player dies early, regardless of the cause, CTE is brought up. Again, CTE is very real, but I fear it's being used too much.

You can’t get a payout from anybody if he died because he’s an alcoholic… gotta play that CTE card so they can get paid

A common theme with CTE is destructive behavior, so someone coping with degenerative brain function by drowning it in alcohol may be worth a mention.
