Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning To Announce Retirement Monday
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning will announce his retirement after 18 seasons on Monday at 1 pm ET. VP John Elway said...
quote:

"When you look at everything Peyton has accomplished as a player and person, it's easy to see how fortunate we've been to have him on our team," said Elway. "Peyton was everything that we thought he was and even more -- not only for the football team but in the community. I'm very thankful Peyton chose to play for the Denver Broncos, and I congratulate him on his Hall of Fame career."
You think he'll cry at the presser? Here's a cool graphic that shows all 539 of his TD passes, the most in NFL history...

Well, when you need hip replacement surgery at his point in his career. you can't do that in the off season and expect to come back when your ability to throw is already diminished. Time to hang up those cleats Mr. Manning.
