Cris Carter Tells Rookies They Need
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
When Hall of Fame WR Cris Carter spoke to the 2014 NFL rookies at the Rookie Symposium last year, he advised them to have a "fall guy" for when they get in trouble...

Carter then apologized on Sunday for the year-old video...
quote:

“Seeing that video has made me realize how wrong I was,” said Carter, who apparently didn’t realize how wrong he was when the words were, you know, emerging from his mouth. “I was brought there to educate young people and instead I gave them very bad advice. Every person should take responsibility for his own actions. I’m sorry and I truly regret what I said that day.”
Either way the mentality of this thinking and presenting it as advice to rookies just adds to the negativity surround the NFL culture. It''l be interesting to see how Carter reacts to it on air when the season starts. Here's what the NFL had to say...

NFL fails again. Why would they allow a retard like carter speak. He is hood 4ever. Guys like him, sapp, and Irvin try so hard to be analyst but they have no place out there or in that setting
