TCU QB Trevone Boykin Arrested Thursday Morning After Bar Fight

According to WOAI in San Antonio, TCU QB Trevone Boykin has been arrested two days before his team plays Oregon in the Alamo Bowl. Boykin was at Pat O’Brien’s in San Antonio when some patrons recognized him and “exchanged words.” He allegedly became upset and swung at one of the hecklers, but missed and made contact with a bar employee instead. Police say bike officers arrived and came upon Boykin as he was taking swings and say the player indiscriminately hit an officer. Here's the police report...

He was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and public intoxication, he was released on bond. Per TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson regarding suspensions for Saturday’s game...
