Then everyone freaked out, because as you recall Briles was fired from Baylor in 2015 in the wake of a major sexual assault scandal within their football program. So then he got fired the same day by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats...

The team that hired him is a bunch of cowards. They knew his baggage full damn well before they hired him. They knew it would cause blowback. Then they got the blowback and immediately caved to it.

I believe in 2nd chances but I'm not sure I ever heard or read where briles accepted full responsibility for having what happened to those young women at Baylor while on his watch. Until then, he should be off limits.

Why? Do you know 100% that he knew about sexual assaults and didn't report them? If so, how is he not in jail? Briles is one of the great coaching minds in football.
