Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports
Former LSU and current Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger was involved in a incident over the weekend in which he was "sucker punched" at a popular Nashville bar. Per The Tennessean:
quote:

Steve Ford, owner of Losers Most Wanted Bar & Grill on Division Street, said Mettenberger did nothing to provoke another bar patron, but the 6-foot-5, 224-pound quarterback ended up getting punched in the face. He did not require medical attention.

"Here's the truth: The guy said something about 'Roll Tide!' to Zach, and Zach turned around and said 'Good luck with that,' " Ford said on Monday. "And the guy's buddy then sucker-punched Zach.

"I promise you that Mettenberger did not throw a punch. He didn't do anything. The guy sucker-punched him in the eye, that's the bottom line, and the guy that punched him started running out the door. My door guys had to chase him down."
The Titans declined comment on Monday.

Zach should've turned to the mullet-headed TPOS and said, "Hey pal - enjoy your miserable toothless life while I'm off tossing NFL touchdowns and banging hot Tennessean snatch. Oh and before I forget - GFY."

Zach needs to get a proper nfl bodyguard. They exist, not because the players are pussies, but because of this stupid shite. Welcome to pro sports, zach.

To a true tiger fan we have different degrees of respect for other teams in the SEC. We hear chants of disrespect at most athletic events from the gators, rebels, razorbacks, bulldogs, etc. and we do our fair share of passing most of the insults right back in their face. After a win or loss, we usually hear how we made a certain play that changed the game or how we missed a block or some defensive scheme failed and we lost. We complain maybe, but we hold our heads high, and move on. BUT, Without a Doubt, the Alabama team, coaches, and fans WIN hands down as the poorest sports on the field, in the stands, and at the bars. Oh, sure, we have a number of idiots who do and say stupid things, but LSU and the other SEC teams are way way down the scale and are miserable losers in comparison to the pomp and arrogant tide fans (whether they win or lose). This is why it is so much fun to beat them and root for other SEC schools to do the same!!! Hold your head high Zach. As a tiger fan, you always have to be on the lookout for the bama left hook, as they ARE the poorest sports in the SEC......

That pisses me off. Way too many trash losers and cowards. Props to Mett for being the bigger man and not chasing down that pos.
