Through two preseason games for the Tennessee Titans, former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger has completed 15 of 20 passes for 220-yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Although he is not currently starting, Mettenberger continues to catch the eye of many NFL teams and analyst who think he is good enough to start in the league.

Here is video of Mettenberger threading the needle for a touchdown pass to Titans tight end Chase Coffman from Sunday night’s win over the Rams:

Mettenberger can be a quality NFL QB but he needs a goof Oline. I hope he gets another chance soon. Mariota is there to stay barring injury.

Houston would be a great fit. Hoyer or Mallet as your starting QB is a joke.

Somehow, someway, LSU managed only one productive season with him on the team three years.

We were lucky to have Mett.

the Titans have had him for a year plus? if they thought he could be the man...why draft MM? maybe they see something we're not...just sayin

JJ Watt disapproves of mett doing so well.

Houston, Arizona, Washington, Chicago, NY (pick one) all you use some Mett Life

Tennessee, please trade Mett somewhere with a decent o-line.

@Datbayoubengal I think he'd be the absolute perfect fit in Arizona's offense. If you put Bruce Arians in a laboratory and told him to design his ideal QB, he'd walk out with Mett.

On buffalo boards i go to theres always trade for mett threads. We have enough depth to give titans a good return

Same thing I have been saying Doug. I think Mariota will be just ok at best, something like a Ryan Tannehill, but Mett is going to be the next big time QB. I would love for him to go to Arizona personally because of the LSU connect, but anywhere with a decent OL and at least 2 quality receiving targets will do.

Mariotta hasn't looked bad, but Mett has looked better......I root for Mett since he went to LSU, but disregarding that I still hope he does great and has a better career than Mariotta so that the Titans could feel so damn stupid for not taking the trade from the Eagles.....They were offereing up a starting LB in Kendricks, I think a safety, as well as a multitude of picks....I still don't know why they passed up that trade

And for what it's worth I have nothing against Mariortta, Titans, or Chip Kelly....I just don't see how a team in there situation passes that trade up

I'm sure at least 25% of the teams have called about Zack. Titans have all the leverage, so they aren't going to give him away. Titans aren't going to be good even if they get a good player in return.

Titans will continue to suck if they choose to hitch their wagon to Mariotta in stead of Mett.

Not sure why the Houston Texans aren't calling...

He's already better than a third of the starting QB's in the NFL
