Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was in Baton Rouge Thursday for a campaign rally at the River Center and started off the event by talking about LSU Football.

One of the first questions he had for his supporters was if LSU was going to "win the big game next year?" The crowd erupted and Trump answered for everyone:
quote:

"Yes. Good Team. Good coach. Good everything"
An "LSU" chant broke out shortly after...

He was sucking up, pandering- whatever you want to call it. It's pathetic- just like him as a politician. Don't want him running our country.

What a douchebag. Trump trolling the fan base for votes. If this piece of shite gets elected this country will be the laughing stock of the world.

Trump wasn't pandering. Pandering is something completely different... pandering is like sucking up to the audience. Trump was just having some fun with the local audience and getting them pumped up a little bit. That's all.

Umm... that's called pandering.

Now, if he had started Hot Boudin, it would at least have been impressive. You people are so easily won over with no thought whatsoever. He just won Louisiana? Says a ton about the state.

Reagan started the "Hot Boudin cold couscous..." chant at our commencement at TS in 1990 and the crowd went wild.

"why the frick would Donald Trump be knowledgeable about LSU football?! It was a Trump RALLY..... He's running for President, not King of tRant."

I don't know, why would you start an LSU chant if you don't even know what 'the big game' is? And you fricking idiots eat it up.
