LSU is 2-0 against the Aggies since they joined the Southeastern Conference in 2012, which includes a 34-10 victory last year in Tiger Stadium. LSU leads the overall series with Texas A&M 29-20-3.

The Texas A&M contest will be the first for LSU on Thanksgiving Day since 1973 when the Tigers dropped a 21-7 decision to Alabama in Tiger Stadium. LSU is 5-4-3 all-time in games played on Thanksgiving including a 7-7 tie against Texas A&M in Houston in 1913.

Joe Alleva's position is that, after this season, future games vs. TAM will be played on either the Friday or Saturday after Tgiving. No more Tgiving games, according to JA.

I heard this on TigerTalk today.
