LSU has reportedly reached out to Memphis wide receiver coach David Johnson about the team's coaching vacancies, according to NOLA.com.

The Tigers' first-year coach has reached out to Memphis wide receivers coach and New Orleans native David Johnson, sources familiar with the situation said Friday morning.

Johnson was the running backs and tight ends coach at Tulane from 2012-15 and the head coach at St. Augustine High School from 2009-11. Johnson is being considered to fill either position on Orgeron's staff, the sources said.
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is looking to hire two new assistants to his staff after wide receiver coach Dameyune Craig was fired and running back Jabbar Juluke was reassigned on Thursday.
