ESPN released post-signing day SEC offensive line rankings this week and pegged LSU at No. 2 behind Alabama. Here is what they had to say:

2. LSU: Ethan Pocic and Josh Boutte graduated, but there's still plenty of talent returning that has starting experience. K.J. Malone and Will Clapp, who started on the left side of the line, are back. Toby Weathersby and Maea Teuhema, who both logged starts at right tackle, also return. Add to the mix ESPN 300 tackle Austin Deculus, the No. 5 offensive tackle prospect in the 2017 class, and the Tigers aren't wanting for quality options. Replacing an All-American at center, which Pocic was, will be the key challenge.

I mean they've had the number one recruiting class in America for 7 straight years. Yes based on TALENT alone, they really are just better than everyone.

There's a fricking shocker. ESPN has Alabama ranked number one in the SEC in yet another position category. I don't know why they haven't already released an article saying, "We worship ALL things Alabama, and refuse to criticize them in even a constructive and positive way. Here's a list of our position rankings for the REST of the SEC. Enjoy!"

The articles are definitely click bait, but you can't argue that bama doesn't have the top SEC OLine talent (maybe best in country except Stanford)

@Play_Neck I could argue. The fact that every single list has Bama 1 is utterly biased and ridiculous. They could have the most overall talent but no effin way they are so much more talented than all other teams that they are 1 in each separate position group.

I think our non-hiding line last year was really 1. Cam Robinson from Bama was EXPOSED in the play offs by refs from other conferences. Is he a first round talent? Don't know, maybe, but he wasn't the best tackle in the Conference.

Even if we had 5 NFL All-Pros on our starting offensive line, these idiots at espn would still have Bama number 1.

It sucks, but until we beat Bama(this year), they are the default #1 at all positions, as someone stated on another of these polls. That said, ESPN sucks in general. Have no respect for them as a network.

I can agree with Bama having the best RB group and OL, but the best WR/TE group and QB is a joke.
