John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
When news broke yesterday that WR/QB Rob Bolden would be transferring away from LSU, many sources began reporting that former LSU QB and current LSU baseball player Jared Foster might re-join the football team as the 3rd string quarterback.

Today, LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette confirmed the news:

Foster is from Lake Charles, La. (Barbe HS) and was part of the LSU football team as a freshman but decided to devote full attention to baseball in the spring of 2012.
