Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
NBCSports.com had a brief write up today about former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger and his possible position in the upcoming draft. Darin Gantt beleives that Mettenberger is shaping up to be an appealing second round draft pick.
quote:

According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Mettenberger will fly to Jacksonville Thursday to meet with the Jaguars the day after his pro day workout.

He also has private meetings set up in Baton Rouge with the Raiders, Vikings, Lions and Titans. Teams can go to campus and work him out, while in-house visits are just for interviews.
quote:

While it’s unlikely he’d go between third and 11th overall, the possibility of going between 36th and 45th is intriguing.
Look for Mettenberger to impress scouts that will be present during LSU's Pro Day this Wednesday.
